Counsellor
Julie Telfer is a dedicated Program Manager, Educator, and Counsellor with a comprehensive background in mental health and wellbeing. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and is nearing the completion of her Master of Counselling. Julie's professional experience encompasses delivering counselling-based educational programs and one-on-one sessions in high schools, as well as serving as a Wellbeing Coordinator in alternative school settings. Her commitment extends beyond youth care; she is passionate about supporting those who support others, including carers, teachers, allied health workers, psychologists, and counsellors. As a mother of two daughters who are NDIS participants, Julie brings invaluable lived experience, enhancing her ability to connect with and advocate for NDIS participants and their families. In addition to her role at RippleAbility, she continues to lead the Youth Growth Program at Oseca, demonstrating her unwavering dedication to empowering individuals and fostering community wellbeing.
